FAQ

  • Q: Where in New York do your missions take place?
  • A: Our New York missions training components all take place in Manhattan. Our facility locations vary, but are generally in the Chelsea, Flat Iron and Meat Packing areas. A few of our select training offerings take place in New Jersey, but those are only available for custom and corporate missions.
  • Q: Do you offer any of your MI6 missions in Las Vegas?
  • A: Yes. We currently offer custom weekend and group events in Las Vegas. Although we are not yet offering open registration missions in the Las Vegas area, MI6 Academy is perfect for occasions such as:
    • Bachelor Parties
    • Fraternity Events
    • Guys Weekend
    • Corporate Events
    • Milestone Birthday Parties
    • Client or Staff Appreciation Events
For more information on availability and pricing, please call Mission Control at 888-779-1905.
  • Q: Can custom missions be co-ed?
  • A: Yes. Custom and corporate missions can be a mixed gender group. It is up to the client to decide. Our standard missions that are open for registration on the MI6 Academy website are for men only.
  • Q: If I buy a gift certificate for someone, do I have to choose the recipient’s Mission Date?
  • A: No. We can customize a certificate so that the recipient can choose his own mission date after he receives the gift certificate.
  • Q: I received a gift certificate. How do I sign up for my mission?
  • A: Once you know what mission you would like attend, call Mission Control at 888-779-1905 and an agent will register you for your mission. It’s that easy.
  • Q: What time does the mission start?
  • A: Mission start time varies based on what training modules are being offered in that particular mission. Typically, however, the start time is between 8:30 AM and 9:45 AM.
  • Q: How long will the mission last?
  • A: The total time for each mission is listed on the Missions Page of our website. Generally, they last between 7 and 8 hours.
  • Q: Do I need to be in great physical condition to participate?
  • A: We recommend that participants be in good physical and emotional health. Some aspects of MI6 Academy may be physically demanding, but it is not like boot camp. We strongly encourage participants to consult with a physician before beginning any exercise program or participating in activities such as MI6 Academy. We require participants to complete a physical readiness questionnaire and sign a waiver of liability before participation. That said, however, we have had participants with knee or back injuries participate, as well as participants of varying age groups. We never force anyone to do any activity that he or she is uncomfortable doing, particularly if it might aggravate a previous injury. Our trainers are made keenly aware of any participant who has any medical condition, including allergies, and will adjust to each participant so that everyone will get the most out of the training.
  • Q: Will I get hurt or injured from participating?
  • A: Any type of physical activity brings with it risk of injury. However, we have never had a participant injured during any program. Some participants report having sore muscles for a few days following their mission, but others feel just fine.
